Trying To Eat Healthier Around Here

In an effort to put more healthy things into our bodies and leave more unhealthy things out of our bodies, we are eating this for meals this week:

Homemade Muffins with whole wheat, blueberries and flaxseed (to help with Eczema, etc.)
Steamed Veggie Platter for dinner: zuchinni, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli, cauliflower
Cream of Wheat hot cereal with toast and juice
Smoothies (more than just twice a week): spinach, pineapple, peaches, strawberries, yogurt, orange juice, banana
Homemade Egg McMuffin sandwiches with organic and farm fresh eggs
whole wheat pasta with marinara sauce and fresh parmesan cheese
Homemade crepes or pancakes with whole wheat and organic and farm fresh eggs
fajita's with shrimp, onions and bell peppers, with black or pinto beans
Cold Cereal (because this is still a work in progress, and therapy day is crazy.) :0)
homemade chef salad with boiled (organic and farm fresh) eggs, and all the fixings


Other options this week:
Oatmeal
homemade vegetable soup with homemade whole wheat breadsticks
Oven Roasted Sweet Potatoes (just as soon as I find a good recipe.) :0)
Red Potatoes, Fresh Green Beans, Corn, etc.
